Job Responsibilities: Candidate is expected to perform hands-on functional testing of components and/or systems that exhibit multiple functionalities. Candidate will be responsible for product sell-off and also coordination and execution of post-selloff/field testing. Candidate will also be responsible for all front-end engineering to include requirements generation, and system level documentation. The positons requires demonstrated ability to resolve technical issues between the Sponsor and Hardware Developers. Previous experience working with National Laboratories is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Basic understanding of Link Budgets, Satellite Communications, Fourier Transforms, Signal Processing, RF Modulation, Antenna design, and radiation pattern testing is required. Familiarity with Linux OS, Bluetooth, Matlab, and Spectrum Analyzers is a plus. BS or higher in engineering or technical discipline.
